Engineered to withstand extreme pressures and corrosive environments.
Within the highly specialized landscape of global thermal engineering, the mechanical reliability and thermodynamic transfer rates of copper and Bundy tubes govern the entire performance profile of HVAC/R systems. Whether engineering heat exchangers, condenser coils, or liquid receivers, selecting the appropriate structural alloy determines system pressure handling, chemical compatibility, and environmental sustainability.
For more than three decades, Ningbo Taojun Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd. (also recognized globally as Juntao Refrigeration) has operated at the nexus of academic research and advanced manufacturing. Originating from the prestigious Xiangshan Refrigeration Accessories Factory of Zhejiang University in 1988, we combine profound academic expertise with raw industrial capability to deliver ISO 9001-certified solutions. With our engineering center supported by material scientists from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), we deliver not just commodities, but critical high-performance components designed to endure decades of thermal cycling.
A National High-Tech Enterprise Redefining Industry Quality Benchmarks since 1988.
Established in the coastal manufacturing hub of Xiangshan, Ningbo, our legacy started as a collaborative laboratory offshoot of Zhejiang University. In 2012, we incorporated as Ningbo Taojun Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., launching our signature brands "Taojun" and "Lingshan", which have become synonymous with high reliability in China’s commercial and residential cooling sectors.
Today, our facility serves as a primary supplier to global home appliance giants including Haier, Midea, Gree, Xinfei, Whirlpool, Electrolux, and Huarui. Our product range extends from premium copper filter driers, check valves, and condensers to customized Bundy tube assemblies, access valves, and electrical cooling accessories. Becoming a national high-tech enterprise in 2021, we continue to channel substantial capital into technical process improvements, automation, and environmental compatibility testing.
Launched as Xiangshan Refrigeration Accessories Factory under the technical guidance of Zhejiang University, setting the blueprint for metallurgical research.
Moved to expanded manufacturing facilities, standardizing filter drier production and securing major domestic OEM contracts.
Integrated the MES Intelligent Workshop Management System, bringing transparency, real-time batch tracking, and traceability to the factory floor.
Formalized international operations as Ningbo Taojun Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd., registering our brands for overseas distribution.
Refining CCD automated visual inspection, helium leak testing loops, and implementing carbon-reduced metallurgical pathways.
Pioneering automation pathways to ensure consistency at scale.
Our core production lines incorporate automated precision cold-drawing and high-frequency induction brazing systems directly imported from Germany, ensuring tolerance stability down to ±0.02mm.
Fifteen full-time material and structural design engineers, led by PhDs and researchers from the University of Science and Technology of China, drive our design optimization loop.
Using a real-time MES system, every bundle of raw copper, Bundy tube, and finished filter drier undergoes serialization, linking metallurgy batches directly to final inspection logs.
We source ITO thin-film components with zero shrinkage properties and liquid crystal spacers with high uniformity parameters directly from leading suppliers in Japan. Our protective films are rated to survive temperature spikes up to 90°C without residue.
Every product batch is subjected to extreme environment simulations: thermal testing at -35°C to 75°C for 500 consecutive hours, thermal shock cycles (10°C to 90°C) for 30 minutes, damp heat containment for 500 hours, and 100V high-voltage breakdown analysis.
Bespoke system designs matching critical specifications of international buyers.
For home refrigerators, freezers, and residential AC units, our double-walled copper-coated steel Bundy tubes and copper filter driers absorb corrosive acidic compounds and trace water molecules, protecting the compressor from pre-mature wear.
Large-scale walk-in freezers, supermarket display cases, and industrial ice-makers demand higher thermal flow density. Our high-purity copper fittings and solid-core desiccant driers withstand high continuous vibration profiles.
Modern mobile air conditioning (MAC) requires lightweight, vibration-tolerant materials. Taojun's capillary assemblies, copper-alloy tubing, and quick-adapters withstand road vibrations and rapid temperature changes.
As the global refrigeration industry migrates toward zero-ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) and low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) natural refrigerants such as R290 (propane) and R744 (carbon dioxide), the physical demands on fluid paths have changed. Operating pressures for CO2 systems can reach upwards of 120 bar, far exceeding traditional HFC networks.
Taojun’s Technological Initiatives:
1. Next-Generation Bundy Coatings: We are pioneering advanced zinc-aluminum thermal coatings to replace traditional hexavalent chromium coatings, extending salt spray resistance past 1000 hours without decreasing thermal conductivity.
2. Microchannel Condenser Coils: Development is underway for sub-1mm micro-port copper tubing to minimize refrigerant charge weight, matching global environmental regulations.
3. Molecular Sieve Improvements: Refining our proprietary desiccant blend inside our filter driers to accommodate highly hygroscopic synthetic POE/PVE lubricants.

Detailed Scope of Certification
Our facility runs under GB/T19001-2016 / ISO9001:2015 quality guidelines (Registration No. 41325Q00065R0S). All certifications are fully auditable through the National Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) portal.
Furthermore, our components comply with US UL standards and conform to European RoHS, REACH, and WEEE environmental mandates, ensuring seamless integration into equipment exported to North America and the European Union.
Insights from our engineering and metallurgy desk.
Copper tubing offers higher thermal conductivity and superior corrosion resistance, making it suitable for evaporators and components exposed to open-air moisture. Bundy tubing (double-walled low-carbon steel strip wrapped 720° and furnace copper-brazed) offers higher mechanical strength, lower material cost, and resistance to fatigue. Bundy is typically selected for condenser lines, while copper is used for tight bends and high-conductivity connections.
We utilize automated argon-arc welding for all joint closures, followed by 100% online pressurized helium leak detection loops. Because helium molecules are smaller than typical refrigerant gases, this test detects micro-fractures down to ≤1x10^-6 mbar.l/s, virtually eliminating field leaks.
Our driers utilize high-grade 3A molecular sieve desiccants. Unlike lower-grade generic adsorbents, our 3A sieves isolate and trap moisture without co-adsorbing the refrigerant gas or lubricants. This preserves drying performance and prevents capillary blockages.
Yes. Through our advanced ODM division, we process custom tube assemblies. This includes capillary-to-muffler transitions, customized return bends, T-joints, expansion loops, and end-reduction formatting. All processes are completed in-house using automated CNC benders to ensure repeatability.
To prevent raw copper oxidation, all parts are dried in thermal ovens, purged with dry nitrogen, vacuum-sealed in heavy-gauge plastic bags, and packaged in wooden crates lined with moisture barriers. We also include VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) packets inside the packaging.
