Founded in 1988, its predecessor was the Xiangshan Refrigeration Accessories Factory of Zhejiang University. Following over 30 years of hard work and rapid development, it has now become a comprehensive enterprise integrating the design, development, production, sales, and after-sales service of premium refrigeration accessories. Understanding Moisture Dynamics in HVAC Systems

Moisture is the primary enemy of efficient refrigeration loops. In modern systems, trace levels of water react under high operating pressures and temperatures to form corrosive acids. These acids attack copper winders in hermetic compressors, causing chemical breakdown and motor failure. Additionally, ice crystals formed by free water can physically block capillary tubes and expansion valves, resulting in total system failure.

An aluminum filter drier acts as a physical filter and chemical purifier. By utilizing a high-purity aluminum shell combined with advanced molecular sieve technology, it absorbs moisture, captures residual acids, and filters out particulate debris.

Our finished products undergo a thermal shock test from 10°C to 90°C for 30 minutes, followed by vacuum oven moisture removal. Smart films in sheets undergo a 24-hour aging process, and rolls are checked with 100V high voltage to guarantee zero breakdown.

What are the main differences between copper and aluminum filter driers?
Aluminum filter driers are lighter, making them useful for automotive and transport HVAC systems where reducing weight is a priority. Copper driers are widely used in traditional stationary refrigeration because they are easy to solder to copper lines. Both designs offer high moisture absorption when equipped with 3A molecular sieve desiccants.
Why do you use 3A molecular sieves instead of 4A or 13X?
3A molecular sieves have a pore size of approximately 3 Angstroms. This allows them to selectively adsorb water molecules (kinetic diameter ~2.65 Å) while excluding refrigerant molecules like R134a or R600a. Larger pore sizes can co-adsorb refrigerant molecules, causing chemical breakdown and the formation of corrosive acids.
Are your filter driers compatible with R290 and R600a hydrocarbon refrigerants?
Yes, our design utilizes 100% molecular sieve desiccants (without activated alumina), which prevents catalytic reactions with R290, R600a, and POE/PAG lubricants, ensuring safe operation.
How does the MES system improve production quality?
